Rainbow CommUnity Projects is a leading organisation in providing nature-based therapeutic interventions delivered by experienced psychotherapists who are passionate about combining traditional ways of doing therapy with the healing power of Nature.
There might be a time when things get really difficult, you might become concerned about your child, or a family member. Your relationships may change and become complicated and distressing rather than supportive and loving.
You may consider therapy at these times.
We offer traditional therapy as well as EcoTherapy in Nature. Through its healing powers and our extensive experience as psychotherapists, we can work together and maximise the benefits of EcoTherapy as an alternative or complementary psychological treatment.
There is increasing evidence of the benefits of spending time in nature for mental health and emotional wellbeing. Nature is very generous and giving, with endless gifts and healing powers to offer including; reduced stress levels, lower heart rate, and cortisol levels through simple immersion in Nature so why not spending more time in Nature and considering Ecotherapy?
EcoTherapy
for all
We want to take therapy outdoors and make it available to all in the community as a more equal and accessible form of therapy for individuals, couples and families to address their concerns through engaging in nature-connection activities and facilitating therapeutic conversations in Nature.
EcoTherapy for Professionals
If you are a psychotherapist or mental health professional interested in incorporating EcoTherapy into your practice, we provide a number of training opportunities and supervision (individual and group) that can help you gain the necessary skills and knowledge and build your confidence.
Rainbow Community Projects
We run community-based projects for people to deepen their relationship with Nature and nurture their mental health and wellbeing. Our latest projects include More Green Less Screen (Woodingdean), Multicultural EcoTherapy Walks (Woodingdean), Ecotherapy for mental health (Whitehawk) and EcoTherapy Group Programmes (Brighton).
Rewilding Therapy EcoSystemic Theory & Practice
Chiara is a also a published author. If you are interested in therapy outdoors, consider reading Rewilding Therapy: EcoSystemic Theory and Practice, published in May 2024 by Everything is Connected Press. It offers an invitation to explore new landscapes of nature-based thinking and practice.

About Rainbow CommUnity Projects
In 2019 I founded this non-profit organisation to promote nature-based therapeutic interventions and EcoTherapy in the community as a friendly way of accessing therapy and help individuals, couples and families reconnect with Nature and each other.
