EcoTherapy Walks Project

This project is for all adults living in Brighton to help them explore and connect with Nature and feel more part of the local community whilst being physically active through walking.

This project started to help people from minority cultures reconnect with their memories of being in Nature in their own Countries of origin to develop resilience and be able to feel safe in a different landscape in the UK. The Ecotherapy walks are now open to all adults who wish to connect with Nature so that they can nurture their wellbeing and deepen they relationship with Nature on their own or with like-minded people who may have met on the walks.

What to expect from the ecotherapy walks

This project will offer guided ecotherapy walks to a small group of adults and will include a simple nature-connection activity. This may be collecting some natural objects, decorate a stick, mindfulness, making natural art so the focus will be on walking and interacting with Nature rather than talking.

The ecotherapy walks take place in beautiful green spaces in Woodingdean, East Brighton, BN2. Bus 2 and 22. Please sign up so you can receive the details of each walk via WhattsApp.
