EcoTherapy Group Programme

The focus of the 8-week group programme is to engage in nature-connection activities in relation to wellbeing, self-care and personal growth. Participants will spend time individually, in pairs and in the whole group. The activities will be achievable and inclusive for all participants.

Who is the ecotherapy group project for?

The ecotherapy group programme is to nurture wellbeing and it’s suitable for all, regardless of age, gender, gender orientation, class, culture and neurodiversity. It is suitable for those who are going through a rough time or experiencing some mental health difficulties. Please discuss your wellbeing with Chiara so she can share her understanding of specific mental health needs and facilitate accessing the group.

How much does the ecotherapy group programme cost?

To make it accessible to all, the ecotherapy group is by donation ie you pay what you can afford.

Insights from past group participants

"A wonderfully-led, very well-organised, well paced, inclusive programme offering a variety of mindful and therapeutic activities in a beautiful outdoor setting. I enjoyed the creative activities the most as they were the most helpful in helping me get ‘out of my head’. We made a mandala out of found objects, represented family trees with leaves, wove wreaths and made nature mementos for each other on the last day."

"A great experience. If only everyone could take a programme like this and understand the importance of nature for mental health as well as physical. I’m used to being in nature on my own but it was extra special to do that with a group of people with a range of experiences and backgrounds. I particularly enjoyed the growing bonds between the group as the process went on. I always left feeling happier and calmer. The only difficult thing was this it came to an end! I enjoyed being in nature with others and felt calmer. It helped me feel a sense of belonging to the area. I have made new friends."
